Thank you for reminding me that I have previously printed out this pattern! I made it yesterday for a new GS. I used jeans fabric for the wings but cut the inside edge about 3/4" wider and topstitched along that line, then ragged the edge. Turned out cute, even if I do say so myself.

As a hint when making pillows---Create the front and the back but then make a sandwich (like you do for a quilt) before sewing the two together and then stuff. Do not trim seams and fold corners into themselves. It takes a lot less stuffing and it leaves a smoother surface on your finished product. The extra fabric in the corners helps keep them stuffed.
