It took me a while to hand appliqué these hearts but I am so happy with the finished quilt!
I used gold perle cotton to appliqué and also to tie the quilt.

I love your quilt! It just makes me want to cover up by a roaring fire! Question - did you felt all the wool prior to using it? Will you have to dry clean the quilt? I'm asking all this, as I've got drawers full of felted wool that I've been wanting to use and have hesitated because of the maintenance (dry cleaning?) issue. If its already felted, I ASSUME it could be machine washed??
