I stated out with a Janome 2011. My old White I had and I did not speak to each other, so I got the Janome. actually My daughter-in-law and I both needed one and she did a lot of the research. Our pocket books were not deep so Janome was what we got. You can get the Janome for sale at $399 on the internet as we did. WE have been very satisfied. She does a lot more sewing than I do.
