I am using a white/white paisley for my lightest fabric...I love scrappies & do alot of them, but I always have at least 1 constant fabric in them to keep something in common. This one will be the white. Go for it...it's your quilt. Right now I've got enough bright colors going in my BH mystery; noticed the fabrics I'm picking for this mystery are really toned down!
BTW, my squares came from the 4" squares scrapbox; I trim down too.
