Hello Everyone
thank you so much for the kind thoughts and prayers regarding my fathers passing. I really did not know how hard it would be. I thought I would be at peace with his passing since he was having so many difficulties. We spent pretty much around the clock with my dad from January 9th when they gave him his last rites. Meanwhile all my siblings came into town and my dad passed away in his sleep early the morning of the 13th. He struggled a lot the last few days which was very difficult to watch.
My dad's funeral was on Friday and burial on Saturday. He is buried in the same cemetery as my daughter Emily. They are just a short walk from one another. So after we laid my father to rest everyone came over to my daughter's grave site and left flowers and said some prayers. It was very lovely and something I will always remember.
Thanks to SheriR for taking over for the week I knew I was leaving you all in good hands. In the next day or so I will do the contest for Dori and Mamaskeeto.
