That cord block is pretty standard for Japanese machines. They're used in cases and cabinets. The outlets are marked for light and motor. New lights are available but I've only seen them in black. Used blue ones come up occasionally on Ebay/Etsy/Bonanza. Another thing that is a tell for the age of your machine is the fancy face plate. Japanese machines seemed to follow closely with Singer in switching from fancy to striated face plates in the early 50s.
