We did not do that, but it would be an excellent idea. Instead of two strips, you could cut one - adding the size of the two together - more name to sign. ****TIP: if you sign, put your block on a piece of med grit sandpaper. It will hold your block in place while you sign and the fabric will not stretch and move while you use your Micron Pen. .05 work great.

You can also cut the 4 squares that are in the upper left and right corners at the top of the blocks (upper background around the heart "curve) at 2.5" sq ea if you want a more "pointy" heart curve. I like the broader top and that is what you see.
