The one below is life size, just over 5' tall.

I first made a "jelly roll" quilt (used my own strips, not pre-cuts). Then I drew out the silhouette directly onto fusible (I used steam-a-seam light). Ditto for the letters. Ironed them all on then using clear poly thread I sewed around all the edges with an FMQ foot. Batted it, and quilted it. The quilting was using black thread along the edges again - over (or as near as) the clear poly thread. Because the silhouette was so large, I also did some quilting inside the woman to show definition of some of the body parts (i.e. breasts and even some pubic hair!).

The quilt was a "chemo quilt" for a friend who threw herself a "shave my head" party just prior to starting chemo.
