I love your traditional block in coordinating colors with the baby quilt and panels. I think it is adorable! Nice job! I find working with panels challenging as well. A lot times, they don't give you enough room to cut them apart and use them either.
I love your 2nd scrappy piece as well. I think it was a great success!
