I'm sure you don't have to send it all the way to Washington state, although we DO appreciate it!
You can contact your local quilt shops, guilds, and veterans organizations in your area. I'm willing to bet that they'd either take the unquilted top, or refer you to someone they know who will quilt and donate it for you.
If you don't find anyone in your area, PM me. I have a nurse friend in the Portland area who quilts tops and donates them to veteran's homes, terminal patients in the hospital, animal shelters, women's shelters, you name it. She will gladly quilt it and pass it on to the recipient of your choice.
