Sorry you're having such trouble. I hate that stuff and switched to Pelon 805 (Wonder Under) a very long time ago because Steam-a-Seam (in all its varieties) was way too much trouble to use and always put me in a horrible mood. Rubbing alcohol was the only thing that worked for me that didn't smell (nail polish remover) or was caustic (goo gone). Good luck.
