Thank you all for the amazing support, and confidence boosts ! I am not anticipating a ribbon, there are so many amazing quilts entered in the show every time, and I will admit I almost never hand stitch my bindings, because my hand stitching looks like a blind chimpanzee tried to do it. So it is machine bound, which I am sure will leave it out of the ribbon selection, but I am not entering for ribbons. This is just for me. One of those, I DID this moments !
I'm not sure about machine binding and competitions, but if you are worried about hand-stitching, try ladder stitching the binding on the back (it is almost totally invisible).
