OK, so I can't find my brackets. Weird because they should be with the cradle.

Oh well.

The cabinet that I had only had 2 little pieces of metal, not a whole front piece. All I would do to replicate this if I put the machine back into another cabinet that didn't have them is notch the spot that needed to be notched so everything would sit where it needed to be, bend a piece of "flat stock" - or use an angle bracket if one fit there - then drill a hole for the pin in the cradle and a hole for the screw to hold the bracket on. As Singer has shown us several times, there's more than one solution to any problem.
