Just like buying a car, you may have one you absolutely love & your next door neighbor might absolutely hate the same car. Don't let someone else's likes/ dislikes opinions dictate what you have. You just might find you absolutely Love it! BERNINA's are very reputable machines & company with good customer service. I know a number of Bernina owners who talk down about my Viking all the time-- I happen to love my old Viking.
