I use a cake mix to make cookies too, but my recipe is from the seventies, and I forget where I got it. For those of you who like me, hate the texture of things with cream in them, I will share mine also.

Fast cookies-
1 cake mix, any flavor
1 cube of butter
2 eggs
Beat the eggs, and then add the butter and cake mix. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet, bake 10-12 minutes at 350. At Easter and other holidays I use a white cake mix and tint it with a couple drops of food coloring, or you can sprinkle them with a pinch of sugar on top before baking and get a sparkly cookie. We have even rolled the spoon of dough into a small bowl of cinnamon and sugar and made a pretty good snicker doodle cookie.
