So sorry your quilt was misplaced all those years ago. The moral of the story for others is that when something is made with such love, it is meant to be seen and touched. My mother is 82 and still saving many presents from my siblings and I for good. What does that even mean! Nothing hidden in a closet does anyone any good and the gift giver is often disappointed or mystified as to why their gift was not used.
