As others have said, I like stripes for binding, but because I'm "visually - perceptually" handicapped {{{wink}}}, I tend to avoid their use in triangles, etc. because when I think they will be going in one direction, they end up in the other direction. It tickles my brain to keep turning them around to have the stripe going in the proper direction. Bottom line is, No, not too many stripes.
