My dad found 14 blocks that my grandma had hand embroidered. They were very old and musty. I soaked them in Biz and then washed them by hand. They came out beautifully. I think if you wash these blocks, then trim them to the same size. I would wash them before I used them because if they are to fragile to survive a washing, I would not put them in a quilt. My quilt is on the frame right now and I am hand quilting it. It will be beautiful when it is done.
