It would depend on much bigger you need it. I might do the light cream in the same size as the squares since it will give a nice surface to quilt in and follow with a scrappy or darker binding. Think about what you want to quilt in the cream and tan sections in the quilt and how much space you need to quilt something coordinating in the border.
