Its ok that they didn't accept the quilt...its in great hands now. This particular quilt was donated for their " a gift to go home with " program. I opted not to sew the ones they use in the NICU, because of the stipulations, but for the going home program. They take donations of new, gently used and handmade baby items for preemies especially, but also non-preemie babies from families in need. I remember when Alicia was born and a very kind anonymous lady made a special quilt for her to come home in and wanted to pass the kindness forward, which is what happened in the long run. But with a the special blessing of getting to watch this particular preemie grow and flourish. So all is well, and things are as meant to be.
