The 7700 , 8900 yahoo group, nor the predecessor group that started the Janome groups.., 6500/6600....never keep members with other machines from joining or participating. The group moderator allows new members who don't even have Janomes join. Why would a FMQ group care what type of machine you are using...if you are FMQ? I don't get that. The 7700/8900 and the Janome 8900 yahoo group would accept you...it doesnlt matter that your model number is not in the name of the group....THE 8200 AND THE 8900 are basically the same machine, ask any dealer. Please join both groups and see which one you like. BTW these groups are not FMQ groups, they discuss their machines, use and any problems...and only a little about FMQ, for that, i would check out LEAH DAY .....lots of free designs and info.
