Not only is there a formula, but I have an entire spreadsheet for all these numbers.
Would this type of formula be useful on the patterns?
I am just afraid that the variations in rulers, seam allowances and such would lead to confusion if the finished size turned out to be different than the calculations. But that is no different than any other pattern, right?
You may have just talked me into including it?

If you're using a different version of the pattern, such as the Triangle Frenzy Swirl table runner, the 4 will change to the number of triangles long it is.
