I went to a meet up for quilting in my area. The woman who formed us kindly invited us to her home. There were four of us, with varying degrees so sewing and/or quilting experience. I would say we were not any of us on the same page in regards to quilting, but it was still nice to meet.
Then the lady who hosted it dropped out and disappeared, and that was the end of that. Kind of strange.
So I salute you for going for it and I wish you well. I don't regret attending and wish things had gone differently.
