The downside to cleaning/organizing is I put fabric "away" then can't find it. Then I have to go through all the bins & drawers looking for it because I can't remember which group I put it with. I do vacuum to minimize the debris collected when I'm working with the larger pieces. There's no help for the cat fur. It's pervasive.
