The three quilts I am making for her friends will be all personalised. One is for a breast cancer survivor so that one has a big pink ribbon with hearts around it and the lady's name on it. The second one is in memory of the lady's daughter who died at aged 29 so there is a lady silhouette with 29 butterflies flying away and with the daughter's name on it. The 3rd quilt will be skateboards in Bob Marley colours and in the middle section of the skateboard will be Bob Marley quotes or lines from his songs and his name. This quilt is for the lady's 17 year old skateboarding son who died in tragic circumstances last year.
So this quilt will be as a 'tabletopper' for their 'Girls Night Out' monthly dinners but I will be giving it to my friend so she can open up a gift when the others do.
