It is a little different than I was imagining. I was thinking that it was a screw through the table top and into the wood. It has been a while since I have seen the top . I'm kind of estimating that the bottom bulge (that shows above the table) is approximately a little over an inch in diameter and the wood under the top bumper is probably about 3/4 to 7/8 inch in diameter????
