Years ago, I had an old house with very leaky windows. I found the Warm Windows, used it as batting along with a fabric coordinating with my rooms and made Roman shades for all the windows in the house. The directions showed how to put maqnetic strips in the seams. I put magnetic strips on the window molding. When shades were lowered, I was able to completely seal the windows. It made a HUGE difference in the air infiltrating the house. It was made by The Warm Co. I don't know if it is still available.
