Sure do Celeste - all the flowers are annuals, except the fuchsias. But we take cuttings year 1 for year 2 plants, and discard year 1 fuchsias. They grow more vigorously from the cuttings than a 2nd year plant. We do have a few hardy fuchsias we leave in their pots in a very sheltered spot on the south side of house for winter.
But everything else we grow from seed, or buy the tiny mini-plugs in March and bring them on ourselves. It is quite a chore emptying all the containers before the winter and cleaning and storing them. We buy fresh plant compost every year (sacks and sacks and sacks of it!)
