If it were me I would not use the white...it feels stark. I am leaning toward the darker colors. I might try gray and navy. or a pretty print that includes some of these colors. The blocks are beautiful! I agree about the white. I'd use the darkest blue or that dark blue print in your blocks in a 3 inch border. You could also add a narrow white flange, if you like between the blocks and the border.
