So sorry That your bobbin system looks eaten! My guess is it will have to be replaced. Not sure if it has anything to do with the cutter.
Just a note: My dealer advised strongly (forbid) against titanium needles. They are stronger than the metal in the bobbin system and can cause serious damage. I purchased embroidery needles and in very small print along the side of the case it stated the needles were titanium.
