I like the smell of "fresh" the out side scent. However, not all housing areas will allow a clothesline outside. I buy a good essential oil in the aroma I want and sprinkle about 10 drops on a clean rag and pitch it in the dryer. The scent lasts a long time. I was told many years ago not to use dryer sheets because they deposit a waxy oil to your dryer and clothes.
