Just rest up and let that foot heal. You will be able to get all of Bonnie's clues for probably at least a month after it ends. They come out weekly and stay up on her website for a while. Lots of people start late. Some wait to see what the quilt will look like before deciding to join in.
I suggest subscribing to Bonnie's blog posts at Quiltville. That way you will not miss anything. Also, she tells us well in advance before she takes the pattern down to be published. You can download all the clues for free anytime before then.
