When I am done a project, and I mean completely done, I put all the fabric for that project away. Depending on size it goes on a Joanne board, a comic board, a fat quarter board. Smaller than a fat qtr, I cut to 5" square, 2.5" squares, or 2.5" strips or unmeasured crumb strips of about 1 inch. The rest is trash. Then I start a new project. I do not have a scrap bin, ever. My Accuquilt is my best friend to help me clean up and I am always ready to be an early bird at one of our members "swaps".
