I am doing bow tie blocks right now and mine are finished 6" but I have a pattern for an 8" finished and will give you the dimensions that the pattern states. Cut 2-4 1/2" background fabric squares and cut 2-4 1/2" squares of bow tie fabric then cut 2-2 1/2" squares of bow tie fabric. I am sure you know how to assemble this but if you need me to send you my graph that I did, I will be happy to do that. You can PM me your address and I will send it to you.
