I have a side winder, its about 6 years old. I love it. I haul it to classes, retreats, any where I may be sewing. I have loaned it out to be used for singers, Husqvarna, brothers, Elna, New Homes, Kenmore, Janome, Pauff, Bernini, and many more, In a pinch I have used it to load a bobbin for my Tin Lizzie long arm ( they load a bobbin while you stich) It only loaded half the bobbin but it was enough to work with until my LA go another bobbin full.
