I used to teach in a small town that had mostly dairy farmers in the area. Fellow teachers swore Bag Balm was the best thing for diaper rash. I did buy some when I had kids, but I didn't and still don't care for the odor, it's a bit medicinal.
For dry winter hands and feet or anywhere on my body I use Oil of Olay Quench. It soaks right in and doesn't leave a greasy coating. For dry cracked heels you might need to reapply after every shower/bath. It usually lasts me a week before I need to coat my feet again. It's the only lotion I use .
