Last year I did the double wedding ring quilt for a friend of mine, and really enjoyed making it. And then I saw the Bali Star Wedding Quilt and fell in love love love!
So, that is my project for 2017.
Ordered the pattern online, and started reading how much fabric I needed and almost had a heart attack! Found a place in NY - Mount Pleasant Quiilting
http://www.mtpleasantquiltingcompany.com/ and they can make up the kit for you! I was thrilled. Spoke to a wonderfully fabulous amazing woman named Patti (so if any of you know her, feel free to show her this thread!) and told her what colour scheme I had in mind!
I didn't want to go completely bonkers with all those colours, and my bedroom is black, red and cream, so that is the colour scheme of my quilt. Red arcs and black stars and squares and a cream background
