We have a black kitty that we call "Nekochan". Neko is the Japanese word for cat and chan, added on, means something like "baby cat"----so----Our cat's name is Kitten, in Japanese. (Really original---I know.)
For any dog lovers out there, Japanese for dog is "Inu" so I guess a puppy would be "Inu-chan".
