When your BFF texts you and tells you about an "old treadle" at a local antique store, you slap on some make up, get dressed, and go check it out. I'm glad I did. It's a Singer 15 with RAF decals. 15 treadles are few and far between 'round these parts (NE Oklahoma). 15 treadles with RAF decals even more so. Suffice to say, she followed me home, went through a very impromptu Spa Treatment, and she was sewing by 9:00PM last night. I'm not typically one to name my VSM, but I have named my new girl "Winona," after my BFF.
AND as an added bonus, my hubby has all ready stripped the cabinet, and has two coats of stain back on it. It should be complete by tomorrow!
