Default What the heck were these meant to be?

I bought these pieces, 17 of them, at an estate sale months ago. Just dug them out and they were totally nasty, stored in a garage for decades. I washed them in Borax and pressed them, and this is what I got. They are all the same shape, narrowly hemmed on 3 sides by hand. What were they supposed to be? Please dont tell me these were Sunbonnet Sue dresses.... YUCK. I will not be making a sunbonnet sue quilt. Worse come to worse I can cut as big a triangle from them and do whatever I want with them. But first I wanted to float the question in case someone recognizes the shape and can tell me what quilt they were cut for. (I'm afraid it might be Sunbonnet Sue... ).

I love the fabrics. Some are feedsacks but some also look like late 50's, early 60's, so that's probably when these were cut. I want to make some sort of small wall hanging just to be able to look at the prints.

Thanks!
