Bonnie's quilts have lots of pieces but she breaks it down into steps that are pretty easy to do. The paint chips are a reference for the colors she uses. You can use those colors or choose your own. Every year there are gorgeous quilts from other colors. You might want to take a look at some of her free patterns to get an idea what her quilts are like.
