The class action has been awarded $12,500,000. $300 is the maximum amount you can receive. The $12,500,000 will be divided by the number of legitimate claims. 12,500,000/300 is 41,667. So if more than 41,667 people file a claim, the award amount will be reduced.
I was wondering about that. Usually that's how those class action lawsuits work. I got $13 once from a class action lawsuit. They take the attorneys' fees and court costs off the top, then split what's left among the claimants.
