Thank you so much. I was able to use wood glue and painters tape to push that punch back down and then wood filler and some sanding to get it smooth. I am going to finish sanding today and restain it. You can almost not tell. Some of the scratches are from normal wear and tear but the huge splinters and gouges were caused by usps as I have pictures from when she sent it to me. She had won it on shop goodwill but has more antique machines than her husband will let her keep. (I could easily get to that point). She was able to find me a replacement singer decal for the front so it will almost look like new. I will attach pictures when it is complete so yall can see how it turned out.
