Left over buns never go to waste, I spread them with soft butter and garlic salt, then broil to toast them. Goes good with most any dinner. Mother used to keep a cake pan in the oven and keep adding dry bread and eventually made a wonderful layered dessert with bread crumbs, applesauce and real whipped cream. I can't duplicate it. ��
