I made a duvet cover for my sister's down comforter-it was easy, I didn't even quilt ti. Just made the top sewed it to the backing on three sides, then made a lining out of muslin the same way and sewed then together, like a huge pillowcase. I put buttons and buttonholes on the top edge, with buttonholes in the top edge of the duvet too
