I'm in Iowa and we've been getting temps down in the 30's or lower from time to time. Today its in the 40's and feels so warm to me. I have a thermostat on every floor so I keep it at 62 upstairs in the bedroom as heat rises and I'm under a goosedown blanket anyway. The 1st floor I keep at 67 because by the time I'm done for the day and ready to watch a little TV I'm sitting under a lapquilt which keeps me nice and warm. I'm usually in the basement most of the day and its not insulated and with only one baseboard heater for the entire area so chilly so keep it at 70. Even then it doesn't feel warm but if I keep busy I don't notice it as much. Have an older home built in 1900 and the prior owner didn't think to insulate before he covered the concrete walls.

My sister on the other hand keeps her temps above 70 as our mother of 91 lives with her now and she's always cold.
