I found a great item of clothing in a thrift store, it is a scrub type but long sleeve, cardigan styling. Like a sweater but made of woven cotton. I think it will be perfect for when I need just a little extra.
I always have to wear slippers, the floors here are COLD - kitchen floor is less than a foot from the ground (built on a deck) and the rest of the first floor is over a crawl space, I think, or an unheated cellar. I have a nice pair of suede with felt lining, very warm.
