I made this one for one of my grandsons, I let him pick one off of Pintrest, (last time I do that). It was a pain, but it is finally finished, with only 1 mistake that I know of. It has been ripped out and resewn a few times.

Beautiful and I love the bright colors. You learned the same lesson I did, NEVER let someone pick out the pattern, colors yes, that's all. I learned the hard way a couple years ago when my daughter picked out a twisted lone star with compass points in between the star points. Beyond my skill set, despite quilting since 1988. I finally managed to get the queen size quilt done and quilted and to her in time for Christmas two years ago.
