I have never seen these particular rulers and I would not recommend them to anyone. (Regardless of the type of machine you are using). Stippling, Meandering, Micro Stippling does not require the perfection that using a ruler gives. I think these rulers would be very cumbersome. The video did show there would be a problem with the foot of the machine going over the top of the ruler also. Yikes!!! All a beginner needs to do is “take the plunge” and start free motioning on a practice piece. Something small, like a place mat, dog bed, etc. Not a quilt top you spent months piecing. Not in the beginning. A little practice to get control of your machine speed, in conjunction with your foot pressure on the machine pedal, is all you need. It seems scary in the beginning, but after you have started and practiced, you will wonder why you ever spent the $$$ on these particular rulers. A more beneficial ruler to own is a straight edge.
