Just a hint to all who feel this way. Get a long, sturdy pipe that will fit over the end of your tire iron (not copper). The extra leverage often makes the difference between you or a helper changing the tire at roadside and an expensive and time-consuming service call. The pipe stows easily in a crevice in your car. I wouldn't be without one, saved my neck more than once. You may have to STAND on the end of the pipe to loosen those nuts.
